In 2015, American professor Ed Stien introduced me to the world of pottery and guided me to become a potter. Years later, I was fortunate to meet two master potters in Korea. I visited them every summer for classes, where they taught me traditional Korean pottery techniques and allowed me to blend my existing skills with a new Korean style. They also instilled in me the beauty of Korean pottery, which has become the core of my identity as a potter. I am passionate about sharing these skills and the beauty of Korean pottery through my artwork.
